Neural cell adhesion molecule L1-like protein also known as close homolog of L1 (CHL1) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CHL1 gene. This protein is a member of the L1 gene family of neural cell adhesion molecules. By FISH, the CHL1 gene was mapped to chromosome 3p26.1. The protein however has dynamic localisation, meaning that it has not only multiple roles in the cell, but also various locations. This protein may also play a role in the growth of certain cancers.

Sample the amount of 100ul/well of the standard solution at 10000pg/ml, 5000pg/ml, 2500pg/ml, 1250pg/ml, 625pg/ml, 312pg/ml, 156pg/ml human CHL1 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1ml of the sample diluent buffers into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1ml of each properly diluted sample of human cell culture supernatant, cell lysate, tissue homogenates, serum or plasma (heparin, EDTA) to the ELISA plate.
