FAS ligand and other ligands are binding to the receptor for signaling pathways for example in apoptosis or JNK signaling. Receptor agonists are often tested for drug development.
• Detection method: Absorbance (450 nm) • Species reactivity: mouse • Application: quantitative measurement of ICOSL in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
Easy, convenient and time-saving method to measure the level of ICOSL in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 0.156-10 ng/ml Sensitivity: < 0.094 ng/ml

ELISA Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays Code 90320007 SNOMED,Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
ICOS Ligand (ICOSL) is the ligand for the T-cell-specific cell surface receptor ICOS. Acts as a costimulatory signal for T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion; induces also B-cell proliferation and differentiation into plasma cells. Could play an important role in mediating local tissue responses to inflammatory conditions, as well as in modulating the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function. During pregnancy, may function to skew the cytokine of maternal T-cells toward immunoprotective Th2 phenotype. BioVision’s ICOSL ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse ICOSL in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of Mouse ICOSL captured from the samples.
