This assay doesn't seem to cross-react with other species. For more information about cross-reactivity please contact us.
CD158E; HLA-BW4-specific inhibitory NK cell receptor; CD158 antigen-like family member E; Natural killer-associated transcript 3; p70 NK receptor CL-2/CL-11
-20°C. Bring all reagents to room temperature before beginning test. The kit may be stored at 4°C for immediate use within two days upon arrival. Reseal any unused strips with desiccant pack. Minimize freeze/thaw cycles.
The Stop Solution is acidic. Do not allow to contact skin or eyes. Calibrators, controls and specimen samples should be assayed in duplicate. Once the procedure has been started, all steps should be completed without interruption.
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1) and analogues was observed.
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100 Intra-Assay: CV
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Killer Cell Immunoglobulin Like Receptor 3DL1 (KIR3DL1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
For cells, cell lines and tissues in culture till half confluency.A microtiter plate (spelled Microtiter is a registered trade name in the United States) or microplate or micro well plate or multiwell, is a flat plate with multiple "wells" used as small test tubes. The microplate has become a standard tool in analytical research and clinical diagnostic testing laboratories. A very common usage is in the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), the basis of most modern medical diagnostic testing in humans and animals. A microplate typically has 6, 24, 96, 384 or 1536 sample wells arranged in a 23 rectangular matrix. Some microplates have even been manufactured with 3456 or 9600 wells, and an "array tape" product has been developed that provides a continuous strip of microplates embossed on a flexible plastic tape. The receptors are ligand binding factors of type 1, 2 or 3 and protein-molecules that receive chemical-signals from outside a cell. When such chemical-signals couple or bind to a receptor, they cause some form of cellular/tissue-response, e.g. a change in the electrical-activity of a cell. In this sense, am olfactory receptor is a protein-molecule that recognizes and responds to endogenous-chemical signals, chemokinesor cytokines e.g. an acetylcholine-receptor recognizes and responds to its endogenous-ligand, acetylcholine. However, sometimes in pharmacology, the term is also used to include other proteins that are drug-targets, such as enzymes, transporters and ion-channels.
